I was at a party last week that Rocky Nash was throwing for her husband Preston's birthday. There was band equipment set up and members of Rocky's band were fooling around with some cover songs. I even sang a rendention of Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" with them. KD, former drummer for Temperd, was there doing the sound. Whenever I see him he always talks about the first and only show featuring my last project Flabbergasted. He will express how much he enjoyed it and wishes that I would continue with a new group. Later in the night, he came over to me and says, "Come on, Rob. You and me. We can do a band together. That would be awesome. KD and Rob Shock!" My heart sank. I would love, LOVE! to be a part of that. KD is not only an awesome drummer, but he's a really cool guy. But I'm not in a position to start a new project right now. I just got too much shit going on with work, school, and trying to find a new place to live. But that is something to think about in the future.
By the way, KD is promoting some shows at The Dome. Check em out.
